DeFi, also known as Decentralized Finance, has been a great boon for the blockchain industry and the world. Knowing that cryptocurrency serves as a decentralized store of value that is secured, DeFi creates a decentralized financial instrument that is free of traditional centralized institutions. The DeFi world grew rapidly in 2020. In 2019, the value of the DeFi industry was USD 275 million. By February 2020, however, the figure had risen significantly to USD 2.5 billion at the beginning of July, USD 3 billion by mid-July and USD 4 billion on 25 July. This growth rate shows the increase in the interest of the masses in DeFi.
Just like the ICO boom of 2017-2018, this was an increase in defi fraud. This fraud project has taken advantage of the rise in popularity of the DeFi industry. The people most affected are newcomers to the DeFi sector who cannot or cannot properly research these projects. As an author in the blockchain industry, I have decided to create this post to help newcomers identify legitimate and real projects. They're a lot of them out there. Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is the place to be in DeFi at the moment, no question. All you have to do is observe the sheer number of Pancake Swap-style Automated Market Makers (AMMs) that start every day to see how fast storage is growing.
Secured Code: No Carpets:
ApeSwap Finance should add a 24-hour timeout to our smart contract and remove the entire migration code (i.e. the infamous "Rug Pull Code"). This means that you can see the change 24 hours before the auction, even if one of our monkeys became a villain (this will not be the case) and tried to change the smart contract with malicious intent. Therefore, anyone who tries to make such a change would have zero benefits. Everyone would have plenty of time to leave the jungle with their BANANAS before the change could be made. Plus no migration function! There are no carpets
Audits:
Intelligent contract checks cost a lot of money. More than grapes and grapes and grapes of BANANAS could cover. Nevertheless, the safety of our monkeys' funds is the most important criterion for us — and we know how important quality checks are for you. So we have had not one, but TWO audits carried out.
Partnerships:
Monkeys are friendly beings, we love a partnership and we have had in the last few weeks not one, but TWO great (socially distant!) Parties in the jungle when we welcomed BakerySwap.org and Beefy Finance into the ApeSwap family.
Banana drives:
The first BANANA drive has been opened to receive donations in BANANA and other tokens over a period of three days, and we have raised over 4,000 dollars for our sweet monkey.
Burning:
To demonstrate our commitment to the project, we will spend 100% of our revenue on buybacks and burns. A fee of 0.3% is charged for each swap (standard for all DEX). 0.05% of each transaction goes to ApeSwap Treasury. In the first three months, 100% of our ApeSwap Treasury will be used to buy back and burn BANANA. Once this period has expired, we will reassess the best possible use of these funds with the community. The goal is to achieve regular, consistent and large burns for all of you. As much as monkeys LOVE BANANAs, we love our fellow monkeys even more and we know that the value of tokens is important to you. So they keep farming and we keep burning
Gamified Burning:
Monkeys, we have a lot of fun BANANA games in front of us! The first is the ApeSwap lottery, where we burn 20% of BANANA every round. Some lucky monkeys not only swim in BANANA, but the entire monkey community benefits from the incineration vaults with a withdrawal fee of 0.05% to 0.1%, which is used for buyback/incineration.
